The 2015 Men’s Senior PGA Championship debuts a new theme written by Jim! Hear it May 21-24 during broadcasts of the tournament on the Golf Channel and NBC – as well as here on Jim’s website!
Jim has written original music for artist Zach Gold‘s film contribution to the art installation, Killer Heels, now showing at the Brooklyn Museum. The exhibit runs until February 14, 2015.
Jim is writing and arranging music for “The Simpsons Take the Bowl” Fireworks Finale spectacular! The show, which runs September 12-14, will feature cast members from “The Simpsons” as well a special guest starts. You can get your tickets at the Hollywood Bowl website.
The Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey Circus “Legends” touring show, featuring music by Jim, will be playing in Los Angeles at the Staples Center from July 9-15, 2014. Tickets will go on sale June 8 – be sure to come check it out!

On Friday, April 1, Jim attended San Francisco’s WonderCon and participated on the composer panel “Behind the Music with CW3PR: Composing for Sci-Fi, Horror and Fantasy Film” along with Nathan Barr, Scott Starrett, Marco Beltrami, Michael Suby, Sean Callery, and Jim Dooley. Jim will be participating on a panel titled “Welcome to the Machine: Music Creation Technology for Today’s Composer” on Saturday, November 20th during MIMIsym. He will He will also be featured on “All Things Considered” on NPR on November 30th. He will be discussing his work on Epic Mickey, which comes out in stores next week!
Last Thursday, July 22, Jim attended Comic-Con in San Diego, and participated on the big composer panel, along with Nathan Barr, Wendy & Lisa, John Ottman, Michael Giacchino, and Jeremy Zuckerman. The panel was hosed by BMI’s Anne Cecere, and was held in front of a packed auditorium.
