Last night Jim attended ASCAP’s 30th Annual Film & Television Music Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where he received an award for his work on TNT’s The Last Ship. The second season of the show, featuring music by Jim along with James Levine, will air this summer.

Buzhaski Boys (music by Jim Dooley) and Maggie Simpson in The Longest Daycare (music by Hans Zimmer & Jim Dooley) were both nominated for Academy Awards in the Short Film (Live Action) and Short Film (Animated) categories, respectively. Jim’s score for inFamous 2 nominated for AIAS award
Jim’s score for inFamous 2 has been nominated for “Oustanding Achievement in Original Music Composition” by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. The Interactive Achievement Awards will be held at the 15th annual DICE Summit in Las Vegas on February 9th.
Jim gets an HMMA Nomination
Jim has received a Hollywood Music in Media (HMMA) nomination for Best Original Score – Television for his work on Wilfred! The awards will take place on November 17th.
Epic Mickey soundtrack coming Dec. 21
Jim’s Epic Mickey soundtrack will be released by Walt Disney Records and available for download starting December 21st. The digital score includes 20 tracks available through iTunes and other major digital media retailers. The Epic Mickey soundtrack has also won G4TV’s Best Soundtrack of 2010!
Jim nominated for HMMA Award
Jim has received a nomination for “Best Original Score – Video Game” for his work on Epic Mickey by the Hollywood Music in Media Awards as part of the 2010 Visual Media Nominees. Winners will be announced at the HMM Awards & Conference on November 18th, 2010.
