Jon Burlingame has written a great review of this past weekend’s “The Simpsons Take the Bowl” concert event, now posted online at the Film Music Society’s website. Jim arranged and wrote music for the show, which performed to much acclaim for three nights at the Hollywood Bowl.

Jim is writing and arranging music for “The Simpsons Take the Bowl” Fireworks Finale spectacular! The show, which runs September 12-14, will feature cast members from “The Simpsons” as well a special guest starts. You can get your tickets at the Hollywood Bowl website.
Jim co-writes song for George Perris
Jim recently co-wrote a song for international pop singer George Perris’ new album with Marco Marinangeli. The song will be performed at the upcoming concert in New York.
Mars Underground to be performed
On Friday, March 23, the The University of Windsor Wind Ensemble will present a concert titled “To Infinity….and Beyond”. As part of the concert, they will be performing music from Jim’s score to The Mars Underground.

Tim Davies Big Band to perform Pushing Daisies
Jim’s orchestrator Tim Davies will be appearing with his big band in concert on Monday, August 16th at Typhoon in Santa Monica. In addition to his regular set, he will be featuring a few selections from Pushing Daisies. For more information and reservations, visit the Typhoon website.
