Check out the new Simpsons short film, “Playdate With Destiny” featuring a score by Jim, appearing before the new Disney/Pixar animated film, Onward. The film is available digitally today, and will be streaming on Disney+ April 3.
Jim returns to the Madagascar Penguins with “Operation Got Your 6”
Jim teamed up with Dreamworks Animation to score the new short film, “Operation Got Your 6”, or the pro-veteran non-profit organization Got Your 6. This new short, featuring First Lady Michelle Obama and the Penguins of Madagascar, allowed Jim to bring back his themes for the Penguins that he wrote for the original Madagascar films. Jim talks First Flight at Miami Film Fest

Jim to attend Miami International Film Fest
Jim will be appearing at the Miami International Film Festival with directors Cameron Hood and Kyle Jefferson to discuss what it took to make First Flight. The panel discussion, entitled “Art Meets Technology: A Look at Computer Animated Shorts” will take place on March 8, 2008 at 1:30pm. James and Mel Wesson strike again, this time on a short film for the SOS program of Al Gore. It will premiere as one of 7 films selected at the Tribeca Film Festival on wednesday night in NYC! Director, Gabriel London, created Electroland to raise awareness of power consumption and creation in the United States. Audio clips are now up!
