Jim to attend Miami International Film Fest
Jim will be appearing at the Miami International Film Festival with directors Cameron Hood and Kyle Jefferson to discuss what it took to make First Flight. The panel discussion, entitled “Art Meets Technology: A Look at Computer Animated Shorts” will take place on March 8, 2008 at 1:30pm. First Flight screening in Hollywood this weekend
This Sunday at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, First Flight will be screening at The Very Short Movies Festival. The screening will start at noon, so come check it out! Also, this past weekend First Flight won “Best Animation” at the Sedona Film festival.
First Flight wins Best Short award in Bahams
Jim returns from the Bahamas Int’l Film Festival, where he gave a well-received panel on Music & Film and attended the Versace kick-off party as well as Sean Connery’s tribute to Nicolas Cage. First Flight also picked up another “Best Short” award, the 10th festival win for the short so far.

First Flight will be opening the Montreal Film Festival, during the opening night ceremony, on August 24th at 7:30pm.
First Flight wins award at Anima Mundi Fest
First Flight wins Best Short Film audience award at the 2006 Anima Mundi Festival in Rio de Janeiro! This is a very prestigious international fest for animated shorts and over 140 shorts were screened in competition.
